Garden Room

Just for Cats Boarding Information

Bedding - Vet bed is supplied but we have found that many owners prefer to bring their cat's own bed or a jumper belonging to a member of the family. The familiar item and scents do help to settle a new visitor and we are therefore quite happy to accommodate these.

Diet - We keep a varied amount of tins, foils, pouches etc to tempt all appetites. Basically we feed according to home menu but occasionally cats want a change and in over twenty years we have never had a cat go hungry! Dried food is always on offer and over the years we have found that Hills tends to be the most popular - although other high-quality foods are also becoming requested. Fresh food, such as fish, chicken or ham is also on the menu along with tinned tuna, sardines, salmon etc.

Medication - Your cat must be vaccinated against feline upper respiratory tract disease (cat flu) and feline enteritis - which is highly contagious. Vaccinations should be boosted annually and this should be done at least 7 days before the cat is to be boarded. Up to date certificates must be supplied upon arrival. Administration of extra medication should be discussed when making a booking.

Veterinary Attendance - All contact details will be taken upon arrival. If veterinary attention is required we will first contact your own vet to discuss the situation. If attention is required and your vet is unable to visit we will contact our vets - Frame and Swift, Penrith - who will liase with your vet.
